The Foundation Trilogy, by Isaac Asimov

This is definietely a really good trilogy and if you’re into Sci-Fi and that kinda stuff I can only recommend it! Asimov is a great author and he manages to combine good storytelling with super interesting concepts and ideas I have neaver heard about anywhere else and it really pulled me in, once I picked up one of the books I usually finished it only a few days later. I feel like this is especially impressive considering the time it was written in, because it honestly could have been released only a year ago and I would not have been able to tell the time difference. I won’t go into the story here, just read it yourself, but the one thing I have to criticise is that the ending feels sort of randomly placed, where the first book tells the beginning of the era in question and the others follow chronologically, but then stop before having a solid conclusion or reaching the time specified in the first book. (That might be in the sequels, but afaik those aren’t considered to be the main part)
